Thank you!!

Thank you John White!

Tuesday, July 6th, 2010

Eight-year-old John White, Jr. has been raising money for LOR by selling “flipoutz” bracelets. He has raised over $100 so far and hopes to exceed $250. He has been an avid “seller” since he was 4 years old. He started with lemonade, and donated some of his proceeds to the Leukemia and Lymphoma societies in the past. When he wanted to sell the new bracelets, he said he wanted to help “orphans” so his mother chose LOR. The bracelets were invented by friends of theirs in Davidson, NC. Check out www.flipoutz.com.

S.C. STRONG Helps with Storage Shed

Monday, July 5th, 2010

John Hamilton and some of the men from S.C.STRONG recently refurbished our garage so that we can use it for storage space. Besides painting and power washing, they boarded up the windows, put on a new roof, and took off the old garage door. All this in the 95 degree heat we have been having! What a wonderful blessing!! Thanks so much!!
