We broke ground Friday, January 18th, 2013 on a new 4,000 SF distribution center behind our clothing closet. Because of the rapid growth we have experienced and the number of agencies and schools we now serve, we found it necessary to expand our facility. We know that this will improve our efficiency, increase our storage space, and be a safer place to work, unencumbered by the constraints of the limited space in the present closet.
With this new space, we’ll be able to serve many more needy children each year, which will have a residual positive impact on the community as a whole.
This brings us to our biggest asset- YOU, our volunteers and donors. Thankfully, two generous donors have stepped forward and will provide $40,000 towards this project if we can raise that amount of money ourselves to match it!
