Just In Case Closets

Home / Programs / Just In Case Closets
We have created emergency clothing closets in  Title 1 public schools in Charleston, Berkeley and Dorchester counties as a school resource for children who attend school without necessary articles of clothing or have an emergency need during the school day. These closets include underwear, socks, uniforms, shirts, pants, and toiletries, which helps to lessen the disparity of children and generate an environment where focusing on education becomes possible.

“Dear Christina, I can’t thank you and David enough for your delivery of such awesome items for our school. I was in heaven when I went through the bags and found all of the underwear!!!! The students have loved picking out backpacks, so thank you so much. All of the items are so nice, clean, and wonderful for our families. ”  ~ Tammy Lambright, RN, Pinehurst Elementary School
