Statement of Core Values

Core values are the set of principles that guide Lowcountry Orphan Relief’s decision making and activities, as well as the behavior of its employees, volunteers and board members. These are as follows:

C -compassion: Make an effort to understand, respect and support our constituents from other cultures, exemplified by the contributions of our staff and executive leadership, and to contribute to an organizational culture that respects the diverse, individual contributions of staff and leadership.
H -honesty: Behave honestly in all dealings. Honor commitments and promises to the best of your abilities. Do not be deceptive in your qualifications, purposes of solicitations, or fundraising efforts.
I -integrity: Work to advance the mission of Lowcountry Orphan Relief. Put Lowcountry Orphan Relief’s interests ahead of your own; do not self-deal.  Be open and transparent in your dealings.
C -confidentiality: Respect the confidentiality of sensitive information about Lowcountry Orphan Relief, the children it serves, its volunteers, constituents, donors, board and employees.
